help us keep showing up IN a time when safe queer spaces are more important than ever
Ginger’s is a not-for-profit community platform built to create safe, welcoming spaces for lesbians and FLINTA* folk – and everything we do is made possible through the support of people and businesses who believe this work matters.

All profits from events go back into the community
That means continuing to run events across the motu, offering hardship tickets, keeping our spaces accessible, and supporting people who might otherwise miss out. Supporting Ginger’s directly helps us keep showing up – especially at a time when safe queer spaces are more important than ever.
Our community is large, deeply connected, and genuinely engaged. Through our national events, Bush Camps, and global podcast, we reach audiences across Aotearoa, Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada. Alongside this, we have a strong and responsive email database and social media following built through trust, consistency, and real connection - not algorithms alone.
When people or businesses align with Ginger’s kaupapa and community, that support is noticed and valued. Our audience actively backs those who back us - whether that’s through choosing where they spend their money, showing up to events, or sharing recommendations within their networks.
There are a range of ways to support Ginger’s, including podcast partnerships, email and social media promotion, or supporting an event in your region through advertising or collaboration. We’re intentional about who we work with and prioritise values-aligned partnerships that feel authentic and mutual.
